Yeah, and so he had a whole offseason to potentially work on it, maybe do some alternative medicine treatment, obviously trying to do everything possible.
To perform.
Now, what does it signal to you when obviously , there was a little bit of that back and forth with Kirby online, going back and forth, and he's addressing you.
He's addressing your speculation and intro as you've been giving information on your platform.
He's been, you know, obviously, weighing in.
And, you know, we do have to acknowledge that some of the stuff he's been saying has been more hopeful than realistic in regards to His presentation on social media, but you were just indicating that there's a pretty likely scenario, given what you know, what you've read, that he could end up on the pup list.
Now, maybe he was trying to divert or dealing with it in his own way, but you ended up being right.
He ended up starting the year on the pup list.
Just from that, what did that signal to you in regards to maybe his potential preparation and where things are with his, his, uh, his left knee?
Well, the concern with the pup list is the Lions may have put him on the pup list against his will.
Maybe he actually went in thinking, hey, I want to try this out.
I don't want to be on the pop.
But maybe the Lions have a plan right now.
Maybe they realize.
He's got limited mileage on his knee.
How are we gonna use that mileage?
Dan Campbell's talked about this already multiple times, how wear and tear issue, they have to load and manage the thing.
Last year they only got 6 games out of him.
Tried to bring him back in December, he couldn't do it.
So let's say he only has a few games in him for the year or a few certain number of snaps.
Maybe the Lions are trying to bring him back mid to late season for a playoff run.
Maybe that's their plan going forward is to just delay this and see if they can get them in for the more important games.
All this is still consistent with what has been described already, which is a chronic unfixable issue.
I had mentioned earlier, he's been on Twitter, interacting with everybody, including me and you and fans.
You're a mental health professional.
Mental health, absolutely a key ingredient in all this.
He's gotta stay happy, he's gotta stay healthy.
Maybe this is a way of dealing with the situation, getting some control over an issue that he's got no control over.
And it's great to see them.
It's great to see him happy.
It's great to see him optimistic, because that is important.
