Vitello Takes Some Blame For Giants' Woes
Starting season with two shutouts wasn't on San Francisco Giants manager's mind, but that's what has happened.

San Francisco Giants have done something they've never done in 144-year history of the franchise.
They started their first two games of the season being shut out.
On Friday, the New York Yankees shut the Giants out 3-0.
James Schultz was on his game for the Yankees and really had the Giants hitters all strike.
Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton hit a home run in the sixth inning off of Giants starter Robbie Ray and Giants reliever Jose Butto.
The only hit the Giants got all day long Friday was a second inning hit from Helier Ramos.
After that, it was Zippo.
The Giants are now 0-2 for the season, have not scored a run yet, and they are trying to figure out what has gone wrong.
In his post-game comments, Giants manager Tony Vitello said that he may have come on a little strong to the players in a rather, what has been termed by Giants beat reporter Maria Guardado of MLB.com as a, quote, fire and brimstone speech.
That's the words.
Those are the words that Vitello used.
So he was trying to get the players ready to go for the season, and maybe he came on a little too strong.
But whatever the case may be, the Giants are not in a good spot after just two games.
Now, at the end of the season, the Giants have a long way to go for the rest of the season, like every other Major League Baseball club does, too.
They'll come back on Saturday and wrap up a three-game series against the Yankees at Oracle Park.
And the first pitch is scheduled for 7.15 p.m. Eastern, but for those on the West Coast and other areas, 4.15 p.m. Pacific Time.
And it will be shown on Fox.
