Well, obviously not the outcome you want, but how did you feel like you pitched?
I felt great.
I felt like the ball was coming out really good.
felt like the slider changeup was really good today.
yeah, I mean, I attacked the zone, no walks, kept my team in it and gave us a chance, just weren't The other guy was better today.
When you give up solo home runs, how do you view those?
I mean, it's Y- you know, I always say solo homers don't usually beat you.
So, you know, it's one of those things where first one, probably just elevated a little bit and he was able to backspin it.
Didn't think it was gonna make it out, but it did.
Move on from it.
and then the second one, you know, I challenged a good hitter.
I think it was a 3-2 count, fastball, best pitch.
And, you know, he was just ready for it.
So, I mean, for the most part I can, I can live with that.

You've been, on the mound three times when this team's been shut out.
Kind of just a factor of so often being up against the other teams that are one of the best starters?
Yeah, I mean, it's gonna happen.
You know, it's unfortunate, but, you know, the guy today, he's a great pitcher.
you know, he's coming off, coming off injury.
so, you know, a normal, normal season he's probably going deeper into that game and putting up, putting up more zeros maybe.
but he's a great pitcher and, yeah, I mean, it's just one of those things where it's probably magnified when we're not hitting as well.
but just gotta come back tomorrow and, and get after it.
You're obviously not on the hitting side, but you guys are coming off such a rough day yesterday in Philly.
Did you sense any sort of, I don't know, letdown or anything like that in here?
not really.
I mean, it was unfortunate, you know, two walk-off, losses is tough but, you know, it's a long season and, we still got a lot of baseball out of us.
Did you like the location of the pitch to Caminero, you just got it?
I don't know where it was at.
I wasn't really paying attention.
Up and in maybe.
Probably caught too much zone.
but like I said, it's my best pitch, fastball, and I challenged a good hitter.
You know the hitters in here.
What, what do you sort of expect from them going forward?
This is seven shutouts, obviously last in the league in a lot of offensive categories.
Yeah, I mean, we just gotta turn it around and we got a lot of good hitters in this, in this clubhouse, a lot of guys that have track records of being good hitters.
And, you know, it's just one of those things where, maybe a little bit of sense of urgency is needed.
