Where Does ESPN Rank Mets' Soto On Top 100 List For 2026?
The New York Mets know they have a superstar in outfielder Juan Soto, but where does he rank on ESPN's Top 100 Players list for 2026?

But the starting lineup going into this game, the Mets first game of the spring, Marcus Semien leads off at second, Juan Soto bats second in left, Bo Bichette at third base, Tyrone Taylor in center, Ronnie Mauricio at short, MJ Melendez in right field, Austin Barnes behind the plate, Jose Rojas at first, and Chris Suero the designated hitter.
That's one of the lineups of all time.
It certainly is.
So I mean, obviously with spring training, this isn't an opening day lineup.
I mean, obviously you fit guys where you need to.
I mean, obviously people need reps.
Your superstars obviously aren't gonna play the whole game.
Bo Bichette, Juan Soto, and Marcus Semien all only got two at-bats.
They all went O for two.
But it is interesting because obviously Juan Soto, one of the best players in baseball, was an MVP finalist last year.
He's in his second season with the Mets.
And just for Mets fans, it's exciting because you get a chance to get the first look at some of your new guys.
I mean, Marcus Semien and Bo Bichette in Mets colors for the first time.
Bo Bichette getting some Major League action at third base.
I mean, there's reason to be excited here.
I've borderline only seen posts clowning Bo Bichette at third base.
I'm not gonna lie.
What for?
Just being Bo Bichette and being a terrible fielder.
I, I've seen a lot of- That is all I've seen.
I've seen a lot of low light clips of people getting, like, bad video of him fielding.
Everybody that starts off at position is probably gonna kinda suck at first, and that's kinda normal.
I don't see a problem with that.
I think he just has to keep working there.
He's an infielder.
He's gonna get used to it at some point.
But I have seen a lot of the low light videos where he's just booting balls that he looks pretty bad on.
But he's new to the position, so I gotta give him, gotta give him some, time to develop.
And so again, I mean, obviously Bo Bichette has not yet played third base at the Major League level.
The expectation is that he's gonna be the everyday third baseman for the Mets.
So obviously a bit of a learning curve, but I feel like you have to give him-- I mean, you just touched on it a little bit.
It's a new position.
I feel like you have to give him a little bit of grace as, A, this is an infield guy learning a new infield spot, and B, this is arguably the most difficult position in the infield to play.
