Why did McVay seem upset after Simpson pick?

And McVay, you know, is the one that is heavily involved in the picks.
And yeah, they went out there to make sure that Matthew Stafford still felt the love and knew that it was his team, and they were gonna portray it that, yes, it was kind of the good cop, bad cop thing.
Les Snead made it happen, McVay kinda fought against it behind the scenes.
I'm being led to believe, by very strong sources that, that, that is what went on, and that M- Sean McVay does have a future in Hollywood, obviously.

Well, hey- Michael B. Jordan won the Oscar for playing twin brothers in Sinners, by the way, one of the best movies I've seen in recent years.
Maybe you could do a thing where Sean McVay plays twins, like Grin and Barrett or something like that.
Like Smoke and Stack, Michael B. Jordan in Sinners.
Maybe he could be the usual Sean McVay as one twin, and then the salty, grumpy, hands in the pockets while sitting down Sean McVay for the other.
But it really is impressive that he pulled that off, if that's what he did.

I, I, when was being told this yesterday- He deliberately deviated from his normal character- Exactly and embraced this other, darker, dark McVay.
I pushed back against this- What are they gonna call that?
as I was being told it, like, like, "What?
I don't But what?"
And then, you know, Adamant, the, the, the person I discussed this with a little bit, you know, first got a text, then got on the phone, and yes, Adamant that this was the plan of attack, and to make sure it looked- Wow the right way to Matthew Stafford.
And so he felt really good about still being the quarterback of the football team.
but yeah, the, the more I hear, and then I heard from more people too that, yes, of course Sean McVay wanted Ty Simpson, and he was in on this and all this.
And then I, then I get a text about the rundown of our show, and we're back on this subject.
So it just led perfectly to what I was really gonna start the show with anyways and say.
Tomorrow you're gonna tell me- that this plan also included- Right Sean McVay- working out in advance and rehearsing the phone call with Ty Simpson.
And someone saying to Simpson, "Now this is where you say-" Mm-hmm in a voice that's breaking with emotion, 'Let's go make history.'"

And Sean's gonna say, "Uh, this is a Wendy's."
