Video Transcript

for the starters, we'll see, you know, we'll still get through tomorrow and make some decisions on some guys, um, get out of the starters will play, but, uh, I'm not there yet on, um, on everybody.

I know, you know, um.

Joe will play, um, Jamar and T but again we'll kind of announce everything for tomorrow at some point, probably.

Do you have an idea of how many series you'll, um, limited series, so it won't be a ton of time, but you know, for our fans to come out there, they're gonna see Joe and Jamar and T. They're gonna see Dexter, um, so they'll, they'll get a chance to enjoy some of our players there, but how long I keep them out there remains to be seen ideally.

Haven't work out the way it did last year in Philly where Joe gets too dry.

the ideal.

Yeah, that'd be ideal, but again, we'll, we'll, I'm not going to put a number on it yet and we'll just kind of fill it out and see where it goes today we saw, I think.

Bobo and Cassius not in uniform.

Both of them.

I think that's why I'm a little limited right now just on some guys that we're kind of limiting day to day and making decisions for on Thursday.

So I'm not, I'm not quick enough right now to say who's going to.

Um, be full go yet because there's just some guys that I just really want to manage through this week and we'll make some decisions if they're playing tomorrow or not, but those guys, there's nothing, nothing long term on them.

It's just we kind of get out there some days, make a decision for that day if we're going to put them out.

Dax and Brian Cook, um, they will not play in this game.

So we'll we'll get them through the week and then see where that lands going into next week.

Would you put them on a week?

Is that fair?

They'll be out this week and then we'll go from there.

How are BJ?

It looks like BJ's doing more.

Yeah, both progressing.

I won't put a timeline on them, but they're both progressing as we would hope that they would.

With the rookie class, I know every year they kind of a rookie class brings something.

It feels like.

Was there something to this year's class that you have felt, uh, from, from that group?

Well, I think no one's out of place, you know, number one, all those guys that we've gotten reps to, um, they've all shown the things that the reasons we brought them here, really encouraging class.

Um, I want more practices under their belt before we start declaring anybody, a future star in this league or anything because they've only got, you know, 2.5 weeks in so far.

But I think once you get to these preseason games, you'll get a better sense of where they're at, but really pleased with all of them.

Um, they've all made their contributions.

They all belong.

They're all competing for different roles.

They've all, I think, handled the above the neck stuff really well.

They're very mature as a class overall.

So please, pleased with the group by and large .

Easier to work with them.

Last year, I mean.

You had 3 guys really that were kind of almost starters for you at this time of year counting.

Is it easier to work with them and, and have patience when they're not counted on to be in there immediately and they're just trying to earn that role?

No, no, no, because you never know where, when it can come up, where they're needed immediately, you know, and so that, that's always in the back, I think of a coach's mind is.

Um, they may be viewed as a depth player or a backup, but we all know they got to be ready on a moment's notice, and so you always have that urgency to make sure that they're ready to go, um, so I don't ever feel like the easing in.

We're not counting on this guy, so we can, we can be a little more patient with them, um.

Usually feels the opposite.

Connor Lou, you had him out there a little bit today.

Um, what's, what is your plan kind of with him and what have you thought about how he's progressed thus far?

He's progressed as we would hope, so being able to do more and more in practice.

Um, and really that's just more our decision with, with the trainers.

It's just how much we want to give them so far.

Everything's been really good.

He and Eric Hall would be two guys that we will not put out there Thursday, um, but they're both doing everything we'd hoped they'd be able to do.

They're progressing.

We'll make decisions on future games with them, but, um, just don't want to put them out there prematurely.
