The Bidders will be required to register and submit their Bids through the third-party portal.
IMPORTANT NOTICE THE BIDS LISTED BELOW ARE FOR ELECTRONIC PROCUREMENT (eBID) SUBMISSIONS AND WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED ELECTRONICALLY VIA THE BONFIRE PORTAL . Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) uses a procurement portal powered by Bonfire Interactive for accepting and evaluating proposals. To register, visit https://fcps.bonfirehub.com . Additional assistance is also available at [email protected] . Submitting bids via the Bonfire portal is mandatory. FCPS will not accept bids submitted by paper, telephone, facsimile (“FAX”) transmission, or electronic mail (e-mail) in response to any Bids.
FCPS strongly encourages offerors to submit bids well in advance of the bid submission deadline. A bid submission is not considered successful unless all necessary files have been uploaded and the ‘Submit & Finalize’ step has been completed. Bidders are responsible for the consequences of any failure to plan ahead in the submission of their bids.
Addenda
Changes and addenda to a solicitation for the Office of Facilities Management may occur prior to the bid date and time. It is the responsibility of the bidder to check this listing frequently. Failure to acknowledge the addenda on the proposal/bid form may result in a bid being deemed non-responsive and consequently rejected.

You may enter the building at the above referenced address at the front entrance, the door is secure, therefore allow time for entry. Public bid openings are held at the same location unless otherwise noted. In the event of inclement weather that closes the FCPS Administrative or Central Offices, bids will be due and opened at the same time, the following business day. To confirm closing, visit FCPS .
Inclement Weather Policy
Bidders are responsible for checking the appropriate operating status for possible delays or closings.
In the case of an emergency for a weather-related closing or delay, the FCPS website will be updated first, and will automatically include an alert at the top of each page with the appropriate information.
Check the website http://www.fcps.edu the emergency information will be listed on the webpage. If the operating status for the FCPS Administrative or Central Offices are closed, or delayed opening, bids and proposals will be due at the same time on the next regular business day. Pre-bid or pre-proposal conferences will be rescheduled by addendum.

FCPS, Office of Administrative Services, Contract Administration Section is responsible for awarding contracts for facilities modifications and minor improvements to FCPS buildings. Contractors requesting notification of FCPS solicitations are encouraged to submit a bidders mailing list application. An email address is required on the application. The Contract Administration Section strives to maintain current and accurate contractor information. Thus, contractors must notify our office annually of new email addresses and mailing addresses. Pre-Qualification Application
FCPS, Office of Facilities Management accepts prequalification applications from contractors for Re-roofing Projects. The below Prequalification Application must be submitted for approval no later than 60 days prior to an established bid opening as advertised within the Current Solicitations Section.
