Administration Committee
Supports the effective management and administration of the School Board Office.
A school board standing committee is a permanent committee established by a school board to focus on specific areas of governance, management, and policy within the school district. These committees are designed to ensure that critical aspects of the school system receive focused attention and oversight. They typically meet regularly to discuss and make recommendations to the full school board on issues within their purview.
Supports the effective management and administration of the School Board Office.
The Audit Committee serves as the Board’s liaison with the Office of Auditor General.
Clarifies and communicates the School Board’s budgetary requirements and priorities to the Board of Supervisors and the community.
Designs and recommends a comprehensive planning process, monitors that process, and suggests improvements to the Board.
Supports the work of the Board as that work is defined in the Strategic Governance Manual.
Plans strategies, topics, timelines, and other matters related to Board and community.
