ELP - Fanfare For The Common Man ノーカットPV映像

Emerson Lake & Palmer 1977 - Fanfare For The Common Man多くの動画サイトでは冒頭が大幅にカットされた映像ばかりですが、こちらは昔フィルム上映会で流されたのと同じで頭の部分から全編収録されています。映像のコンディションもよいですね。画像をクリックするとフェイスブックで動画を再生します。

天に召された永遠のプログレ少女アッキーに捧ぐ

8月15日未明、ツイッターで闘病中ながらも明るいツイートでプログレファンに親しまれたアッキーさんが天に召されました事をお嬢様のご報告にて知りました。ご長女の「一つでも多くの💛をください」のメッセージに対し本日16日朝までで、なんと84000件の💛が寄せられました。思えば私が退院した5月にツイートに登場したアッキーさん。キツイ闘病生活のなかで最後まで明るく振る舞われてました。多くの音楽ファンもその明るさに癒されてたために、その喪失感は大きな悲しみとなってツイッターに広がりました。短い間でしたが本当にありがとうございました。いつまでも忘れません。 ※16日、21時時点で約15万もの♥がよせられました。アキさんの人柄が起こした奇跡ですね。

The Soul Searchers - Scaramouche / Head Start (July 1975)

デヴィッド・ボウイ他英国音楽界の錚々たる面々が集まって70年代半ばに制作されたロック版「ピーターと狼」。当時日本盤も発売されてましたね。その仕掛人であるDennis MacKayによって同時期企画されたレコードでバンド名義The Soul Searchersとなってますが、オールスターです。John Goodsall:gGary Moore:gJack Lancaster:windPercy Jones:bRobin Lumley:keyBill Bruford:ds驚くほどファンキーな演奏が展開されてますが、ドラムスはさすがビル先生。個性が際立ってますｗ※、なおバンドメンバー一覧については、4年前の2016年8月初旬に亡くなられた、60s/70s英国ロック・データベースさまのサイトより敬意を込めて引用させていただきました。時が経つのは早いものですね。
