真岡の競技会

確かC級戦だったと思うんですが、１分ちょっとで音が乱れたんです。

ワルツが混線して音が止まりました。

アナウンスが入り、選手の皆さんもう一度最初から踊ってくださいとのこと。

そしてもう一度この曲がかかりました。

バリー・マニロウのこの曲は割と好きな歌でカラオケで歌ったこともあります。

オリジナルはカーペンターズの1976年リリースの曲。

それを1978年に彼がカバー曲として発表したところ大ヒットして、ゴールドディスクに輝いたそうです。　

サビの部分は歌詞を覚えていましたので小声で歌っていたら、またしても同じ箇所で音楽が乱れて曲がストップ。

競技会規定として曲の長さやテンポが決められていて、以下のようになっています。

曲の演奏時間とテンポは、次のとおりとする。
1 公認競技会の決勝戦では、曲の演奏時間を1分30秒以上とし、予選及び準決勝では、1分15秒以上とする。ただし、ヴィエニーズワルツとパソドブレ、ジャイヴは、1分以上とする。
2 各種目のテンポは、原則として、ワルツ(28~30)、タンゴ(31~33)、ヴィエニーズワルツ(5 8~60)、スローフォックストロット(28~30)、クイックステップ(50~52)、
サンバ(50~52)、チャチャチャ(30~32)、ルンバ(25~27)、パソドブレ(60~62)、ジャイヴ(42~44)を参考とする。

２回とも１分15秒以下だったんでしょうね。またアナウンヅが入って、大変申し訳ありませんがもう一度踊ってくださいということになりました。今度は違う曲かけますとのこと。

３回も踊らされた皆さん、お疲れ様でした。

それこそ笑えない（Can't smile）ですよね。

そのせいでこの曲が嫌いにならないといいんですが。
