おとぎ話には玉の輿っていうパターンがよくあります。
シンデレラだってかぐや姫だって、王子様やみかどに求愛される物語ですもんね。
逆玉の話も一寸法師とか浦島太郎なんかはそうですし、つまり大昔から『玉の輿』は一般庶民の憧れだったわけです。
今日ご紹介するエルビス・コステロの『She』は、1999年公開の映画『ノッティングヒルの恋人』の主題歌です。
町外れの小さな本屋と世界的大女優のラブストーリー。
自分が本屋の立場だったら、彼女がいくら『スキ』って言って来ても迷いますよね。ホントに自分でいいんですかみたいに。
でも、自分が大女優の方だったらどうでしょう。
やっぱり同じように悩むだろうな。自分を取り囲むたくさんの雑音のせいで嫌われてしまうんじゃないかって。
