今日は母を連れて退院後の経過観察で早朝から病院に行ってきたんです。

病院には土曜日のせいか特に外来の診察待ちの方がたくさんいらっしゃいました。

辛いこともあるけれどみんな生きていて、生きているからこそ少しでもいい明日を生きるためにここに来られているんですよね。

顔を合わせれば早く死にたいと言っていた母が、退院してからその言葉を口にしなくなりました。

自分よりも何倍も辛い思いをされて入院している人たちの話を聞いたからかもしれません。

どんな状況になってもあきらめない気持ちで、この歌のようにまた立ち上がって欲しいです。
