After watching Oyu 10 travelling/railway post office at Noto-nakajima Station, I went to Wakura-onsen [Wakura Hot Springs] Station to wait for "Hanayome Noren" express.
"Hanayome Noren" express has been in service since 2015 between Wakura-onsen [Wakura Hot Springs] Station and Kanazawa Station mainly on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The carriage is a 2-carriage refurbished Kiha 48 Series. Its exterior is coloured in black and red, which comes after Wajima-nuri lacquerware. The colourful flowers from Kaga-yuzen hand-dyed silk kimono. The gold-coloured squares on its body get an idea from gold leaves.
Before the train came, I enjoyed "Hanayome Noren" split curtain with a family emblem exhibited at the concourse of Wakura-onsen [Wakura Hot Springs] Station. The name of the train comes from the curtain. The curtain is a traditional present for women when they get married to wish them happiness. The curtain puts at the entrance of the family altar room in the bridegroom's house, and a bride passes through the curtain before the bridal. All people can freely pass through the curtain at the station.
At 11:42, the train came to the station. While the train staff prepared for the travel, I photographed the train from the opposite platform.
A few minutes later, I got on the train. At 12:08, the train departed from the station on schedule. The train stopped at Nanao and Hakui Stations before arriving at Kanazawa terminal.
After departing from Nanao Station, train attendants served me a boxed lunch. The boxed lunch is only for passengers from Wakura-onsen [Wakura Hot Springs] or Nanao Station to Kanazawa Station. If you want to eat lunch, you need to pre-order at a station or travel agency.
While eating the lunch, the train arrived at Hakui Station.
From Hakui Station to Unoke Station, the train ran in the west coast of Noto Peninsula. However, I couldn't see the Sea of Japan because the railway doesn't spreads very near the sea. Soon after passing Hodatsu Station, a train conductor annunced that passengers could see Mt. Hodatsu, the highest mountain in Noto Peninsula, over the left window (the highest mountain in my seventh photograph). The train kept going toward south.
Before passing Morimoto Station, the elevated railway of Hokuriku Shinkansen got close to that the train ran on. In parallel with that, the train arrived at Kanazawa terminal at 13:21.
It was memorable because of the beautiful train interior and delicious lunch.
