friend told me (my best friend Andrea's Dad) - that our bodies and minds are built to create and nourish these little beings. The most important thing is to trust yourself that you can go through the whole process to deliver your baby. As I went through each labour pain - I told myself " I am strong, I am calm and I am able to do this..." I was also told by my friends Dad as well as by an amazing woman who taught my pregnancy yoga class, that it is important not to resist the pain of labour, but to embrace it and breathe through it - which helps you to stay in control of the labour process.
