37.68 carat NMDC Diamond Passed in

The biggest diamond discovered by NMDC at Majhgavan, in Uttar Pradesh, India, has been passed in at a recent auction at the National Mineral Development Corporation.

There was no buyer for the massive 37.68 carat diamond which was acoompanied by another large diamond, also passed in.

The auction, held at the NDMC mines club at Majhgavan, hosted buyers from all over India.

According to Diamond World, the Panna mines at Majhgavan are considered Asia’s biggest mechanised diamond mines with NMDC currently the sole organised diamond producer in India.
