Art Bar is a low-lit, bluish-hued lounge scene with plenty of attitudes, plus a jukebox and fireplace in the back. The bar is filled with regulars and they cannot seem to get enough of this place. A great place where arty folks can mix with a professional crowd after work, or just to enjoy some quiet time during the wee hours. An unflagging symbol of fortitude, the One World Trade Center rises from a sea of buildings in Lower Manhattan, its beautiful steel ascent a reminder of a dark day in American history. This brilliant icon soars to 104 floors, and when it was completed in 2012, it superseded the Empire State Building as the tallest structure in New York City. At an astonishing height of 1,776 feet (541.33 meters), it is also the tallest building in America and the Western Hemisphere. The National September 11 Memorial & Museum flanks the southern end of the center, while rumbling fountains spill over granite walls and collect into twin pools north of the tower. The parapet of the pools is inscribed with almost 3000 names of the lives lost during the 9/11 attacks, allowing visitors for a moment of quiet reflection. When viewed from the lowest point from the ground, the top of the tower appears to converge and resemble a pyramidal apex. Another interesting feature about the One World Trade Center is that the height of the structure is a cleverly planned allusion to the year in which in the American Declaration of Independence was signed. A marvel of modern design, the One World Trade Center is a significant landmark that links the past and the future of this great American city.
Marie's Crisis Cafe has been in existence since the 1850s. It was rechristened Marie's Crisis after the "Crisis Papers" by Thomas Paine. Nowadays, every night the public joins the regulars or performers that sing show-tunes with the piano and creating a nostalgic atmosphere. Beer and cocktails are served here, but watch out for the beautiful mirror work that depicts the scenes of the French and American Revolutions placed on the wall near the bar, whose origins remain unknown to this day.

This powerhouse in the modern art world doubles as one of the best-known museums on the globe. This impressive Fifth Avenue mansion was once the home of coke and steel magnate Henry Clay Frick. It was the Frick family's wish that his art collection remain on display there after his death. Built in 1914, the mansion was made to look much older. The gilded, ornamental décor is the perfect setting for exhibits which include masterpieces by Vermeer, Goya and Rembrandt. Stroll in the tranquility of the beautiful outdoor garden. Please note children under the age of 10 are not permitted in the collection.
