Discover a civilisation that once flourished in an earlier century that is the Snyder Estate Natural Cement Historic District. The origin of the district dates back to the 19th Century where the Snyder family started production of cement on the discovery, later due to the Great Depression the factory was affected and later rose to high production during World War II. Today what remains is the ruins of few structures and other buildings like the Century House, Andrew J. Snyder I House and the Widow Jane Mine. The district has been listed on the U.S National Register of Historic Places.
