McCarren Park previously known as the Greenpoint park, is spread over 35 acres of land covered with fields and paths. It is a great place to take the kids who will enjoy playing basketball, handball, football, kickball, soccer, baseball, bocce and tennis. The park has become a recreational place for the community. Locals enjoy playing around the Ericsson Playground which is complete with a jogging track, tennis courts, a soccer field, five baseball diamonds,more than enough space to keep you pumped. The McCarren Park Pool hosts live concerts and is another good place to check out.
Duane Park
Duane Park is located in the former site of the Bowery Poetry Club. This opulent burlesque and jazz haunt is one of the top cabaret spots with beautiful dancers and talented musicians. From dinner shows to late night spectacles, Duane Park entertains to an affluent crowd.
