When we first opened our doors in 1983, the Sawatdee mission was simple: to take our community on an adventure full of Thai flavors and good times. Many years later, that adventure is still as exciting as ever. Not only have we expanded with more restaurants to share our flavors with more folks, but we've added to the flavors we offer, as well. With an amazing bar, a fun-filled happy hour, live music every week, and a big screen to catch the game on, there's no better place to indulge in good taste than Sawatdee. At every Sawatdee restaurant, our philosophy is the same: Treat every guest with love and respect as we serve them dishes made with heart.

La Cuc's started humbly in the 60s with a single location, a beer and wine-only license, and surprisingly spicy chips and salsa. The menu has expanded to include an impressive number of vegetarian and seafood options as well as the usual spiced meats. The portions tend to be quite large. Though this venue can get very crowded, afternoon and late evenings are perfect for grabbing a signature margarita with your meal. Locals continue to flock here for good, local food with real Mexican flair that walks the line between Minnesotans and spice.
In 1991, former Minnesota North Star Tom McCarthy transformed the once Clark Gas Station at Hamline and Larpenteur in St. Paul, MN into a fish and chips shack. It is unlikely the hockey great could have foreseen where MAC'S would be all these years later. Now operated by Dan and Tom Flanagan, MAC'S has a newfound dedication to making everything on the menu completely in-house. The fish and cheese curds are hand battered, the shrimp and clam strips are hand breaded, the chips are hand cut, and everything is deep fried and delicious. As if that wasn't enough, a piece of Salt Water Taffy (batch made/pulled daily) comes with every meal.
