Blue's Egg is only open for breakfast, but it lasts until 2pm and it has one of the best breakfast menus in the city. Owners Melissa Buchholz and Ross Bachhuber run this restaurant based on the principle of shared plates and communal ingredients. The menu is hard to define because its influences range from French traditionalism to Asian fusion. You can order Steamed Mussels in a Shallot Apple Broth or Lo Mein with Crispy Wonton and Tofu for something completely different. Nonetheless, the kitchen brings different farm-to-table flavors every day with their innovative small plate menus and charcuterie boards which are some of the best in the city.

Morel Restaurant takes farm-to-table philosophy to a new level with a daily changing menu featuring local classics. Unusual ingredients native to Wisconsin farms and woodlands find a prominent place in the recipes. Chef Jonathan Manyo trained in culinary arts and dietetics and worked at top restaurants of the US West Coast. However, he came back to native Wisconsin to set up this fine dining restaurant and serve dishes typical of the region. Start your meal with a charcuterie or cheese platter combining four items each. Try dishes like Duck Breast and Oyster Mushroom with Duck Jus, Petit Nuage, Chicory, Fennel and Peach. The food is complemented by a selection of luxury wines and craft beers from diverse American regions.
