Looking at this, you know, as you mentioned that North Carolina game.
And looking at Bill and kind of coming out of nowhere, I mean, I think, Bill, you had said that, hey, seven points or maybe it was up to nine You know, we had talked to Tim Murray who comes on with us on Thursdays, to do some, you know, gambling stuff.
He's like, " Nine's way too many.
This could be a touchdown game."
Both of these offenses looked pretty good to start the game, and then all of a sudden kinda got bogged down there second quarter.
But I mean, so much was made of Bill Belichick's demise, and then you see, you know, them out there having success.
And a guy from Ohio State, this is what I kind of enjoy, Bill, is getting in there and I'm like, oh, I forgot that this is where Jelani Thurman transferred to.
Yeah .
You know?
He has four or five catches for almost 100 yards and looks like the guy that everybody anticipated he would be at Ohio State.
And I think that that's kind of one of the things early in the season that you look at and you see some of these teams, and there's some familiar faces popping up at other spots, maybe having some success just due to maybe some greater opportunity.
But it seems like this North Carolina team, like you said, has looked more well-coached, looked like they can contend.
And I don't know that they're gonna win nine games, but even despite a really difficult schedule, I think TCU's gonna end up being pretty decent.
I think that they may be able n- to manage that to seven and five with some of the talent that they have brought in.
Yeah.
You know, I Thurman was an interesting piece.
Gives them a tight end.
He cut the tight end screen.
He caught the-- They made some big plays in the first quarter, and then he catches the, the last pass of 20 yards or more.
I thought Billy Edwards Jr.
Played well.
They've got good pieces on the defensive line, too.
That was- Mm-hmm ...that was one of the differences in the game there.
So yeah, i-i-it wasn't just about competing.
I don't know what this means spinning it forward other than they'll be 2-0 when they play Clemson, and we'll get a good look at Clemson this weekend.
So yeah, but you can't help but to say, hey, good win.
That, that's certainly progress.
Those Dublin games are weird.
You kind of wonder where TCU's season goes from here.
Th-that's the big one for me.
In the, in the past at the Air Lingus Classic, the team that lost that, typically has a bad season.
You know?
Yeah.
The Kansas state a couple Or last year, I think Florida State, they still haven't recovered.
They didn't look real great Saturday night.
I f- totally forgot to mention them probably because they didn't play very well.
Yeah, it's, It, it was pretty remarkable, like you said, you know, that the team that has lost that game, their seasons have kind of spiraled a little bit, the last four or five seasons.
