And let's get to some college football.

It was college football week zero yesterday, and you know, week zero is not always the greatest thing in the world.

It's a mishmash of games, and you're gonna watch Virginia versus NC State, you might not watch that in week five.

But North Carolina TCU in Dublin, 12 o'clock game, everybody watched.

Not pretty.

Bit of a slugfest.

Bill Belichick pulled it out, and they really do have a good defensive line down there, and I think that's what's interesting, that their defense is much improved, and Belichick is a defensive-first guy.

Yeah.

Not the greatest game of all time, and I know you're getting ready to just- Oh pour cold water all over this one.

But in comparison to last year, which had tons of expectations and a disappointing game g- versus TCU, lesser expectations and a win.

Here's a little bit of Bill Belichick, out of his mind thrilled after the victory.

You're always trying to strive for, you know, perfection.

You never achieve it, but you try to get as close as you can.

You try to be excellent.

You try to be, you know, really consistently good.

And, so that's what we try to do individually and that's what we try to do as a team.

You know, there's plenty of times when we, you know, fell short of that, but, certainly made progress and, you know, I feel like this is a, you know, good step for us.

Wow, no jet lag- on that guy.

He is-- I'm ready to run through a wall for him.

Yeah.

But you know, y- e- everything cooled down.

Remember Dion a couple years ago- Yeah and then it cooled off a little bit.

Last year it was all Belichick all the time, and it cooled off a little bit.

They've got a tough schedule, but it sets up really nice for them.

You know what's coming up, right?

Oh, they got a couple g- they got a gimme and then Clemson down the road.

If they can get past Clemson- you set up early October, Notre Dame at home, everybody will be back in if they're undefeated.

I'm gonna go to my second not so fast call.

Way too early.

Way too early.

It's kind of like a Heisman pose, not so fast.

Come on.

They beat TCU 15-10.

In the pouring rain in Dublin.

TCU had been practicing in 105-degree weather.

They had no idea what was going on over there.

They didn't wanna be there.

They had their own locker room issues.

And Belichick wins 15-10.

Yes, their defensive line finally sort of woke up after- Pretty good the first half, 'cause they were getting run all over.

Quarterback Billy Edwards was fine.

But the hype is back.

Because last year there was so much hype.

Remember North Carolina scored on their first drive- Yes against TCU, they got blown out.

Everybody was in the building.

Everyone's back.

I think it's been a little slower after that win, but people are looking at a 15-10 win, which in a way they probably should've lost.

TCU had some fourth down opportunities that they blew, had so many mistakes, so many penalties.

I am definitely not so fasting this one.

But I gotta say, it's good for college football to have- Yeah Bill Belichick and his team relevant, because it went away so fast.

And you need these characters in college football.

Like Lane Kiffin- Yeah he might be a villain, but you need these villains.

Wait, all right, so does that mean you're rooting for Bill Belichick, or you're just rooting for the story?

Rooting for the story.

Yeah.

Bill and I aren't that close.

But like, I like the fact that Bill Belichick might set up a situation where if they could be undefeated versus Notre Dame, that's fantastic.

By the way, bonus coverage, love the Ronald Curry-era UNC uniforms they wore in Dublin the other days.

Those were gorgeous.

I see, again, the hype.

The hype around Bill Belichick.

You know, who is gonna have something to say about the uniforms, of course, Bill's girlfriend Jordon Hudson.

And maybe that's why I'm-- seems like I'm rooting against UNC.

Way too soon for that
