Well, actually, apparently we have some information.
God.
Interesting.
This kind of jives with maybe what I was thinking.
So it's not the end of the world.
Okay.
I'll brace you for that.
Here is Adam Schefter on the Kobe Bryant injury.
Kobe Bryant is expected to be sidelined eight to 10 weeks due to a hyperextended knee, bone bruise, and small fracture that he suffered at today's practice per sources.
No surgery is expected to be needed.
So eight to 10 weeks, Greg, just so you can calm down, is two months.
Halfway through October.
Well, you got all August for the most part, and you get all September.
Yeah, so it'd be mid-October- So October- Yeah if it's 10 weeks.
Signed, sealed, delivered.
I'll take it.
That is seriously- I'll take it as good a news- I'll take it as you could possibly have.
We'll ta- we'll take it.
Because I know we had Rome that talked about it on K, and I know we had Colson also talk about that he's, that he's gonna be fine, but, like, these guys are just getting off the practice field.
They don't have that information.
So, like, I was still bracing for ACL news.
This is where I was going with this.
So Tyreek, so this is a big enough injury though that, like, it rattles a locker room.
And so I guarantee you that anybody get- just like we were like, "All right, what happened?"
You think his teammates aren't the same way?
Everybody wants to know what's going on.
So for Tyreek to even get up there and, like, suggest that, "I'm just praying that maybe he'll be back by the end of the week," I'm like, well, they've already done the ACL test.
Like, they would know if this was- Right really, really bad.
So maybe it's not season ending.
And then let's play what Colson said a little bit later.
So Colson Lovelin then, like, five minutes later was asked about the Kobe Bryant injury as well.
You know, it, it always sucks to see.
That's part of it.
But you know, he's a tough, he's a dog.
He's gonna be fine.
We're not worried about it, but I'll, you know, I don't know.
Leave that to Coach Johnson.
So that was also optimistic, like, you know, we're not really worried about it at all, and I'm, I'm go- so I'm just trying to, like, I even asked Johns.
I'm just being completely honest with you guys, like, kind of taking you behind the scenes on, on some of this.
Like, I asked Johns, I'm like, "What kind of stock do you put in those two answers?"
'Cause they, they seem kind of optimistic.
And, like, even he was like, "Eh, they don't know for sure."
Like, you, you just And then we saw K Adams' show tweeted out that Rome said he'll be fine too.
So I'm driving over here from taking all that in, trying to process it when I drove over here to do the show, and I'm thinking, "I bet you it's somewhere in the middle."
I bet you they've already done the ACL test.
They, they're pretty confident that, that he's not out for the year, but it's probably also a little bit worse than these guys are making it seem like maybe he'll come back this week.
And that s- sounds like where we've landed here with a hyperextended knee, bone bruise, and a small fracture, eight to 10 weeks.
