The first domino has fallen finally in the last hour of the NHL trade deadline here.
Captain Brayden Schenn reportedly has been dealt to the New York Islanders for, according to TSN's Darren Dreger, a first-round pick, a third-round pick, and a prospect.
We'll have more on this after we talk to Doug Armstrong and get more clarity.
The teams have not announced a trade yet as I make this video, but, the reports are that Brayden Schenn, who had a modified no-trade clause, uncertain whether the Islanders were on there or not, and whether, the Blues needed to get his approval or not to go there, has been traded.
