Breece Hall confident after inking contract extension with Jets: 'I feel like this can be my best season'

Jets running back Breece Hall spoke after signing a three-year contract extension. Hall discussed his belief in what head coach Aaron Glenn and GM Darren Mougey are building as a paramount reason for him wanting to stay in New York.

Honestly, just the fact that they, brought a proven, you know, veteran in like Geno, and then, we drafted some, you know, really good guys, and I'm still getting to know everybody too.

So, you know, so just seeing that, you know, let me know that, okay, we're, we're really trying to build something here.

And, you know, and AG always telling me that, you know, I'm his guy, so, him always instilling that confidence or telling me that he has that confidence in me and, and the confidence I have in myself is very big.

So, it definitely meant a lot, for me to- 'cause they showed me and told me that they wanted me to be a part of this thing.

So I'm definitely happy to be here.

You know, one thing about me is, you know, I'm always gonna, you know, show up every day, be the same guy and, you know, show my teammates how much love I have for them and how I'm gonna play for them every week.

So, I feel like, you know, with my character, you know, everybody sees how, how hard I work and, you know, what I put into this thing.

So that's what makes everybody respect me around here.

And I think that's one of the big things that led into them wanting me to be back.

I feel like I'm the only running back that's consistently a top 10 back in the league that's not in a, no, that hasn't, in the past, been in, always in the most ideal situation.

So I feel like now, you know, AG and Mooch, like, you know, I feel like they really put me in position with all the guys we brought in and the team we're building around us to really flourish and for me to really be myself.

So, you know, God willing, you know, we stay healthy and everything, and everything goes as planned, I feel like this could be my best season for sure.
