For our This Changes Everything moment this week, we're gonna play a game, and you can play with us in the chat, homies- Play along because we're gonna have polls for each one of these.

All you have to do is scan the QR code and vote.

And the e- the We'll start with the easy ones.

Yeah Right?

Would you rather have Breece Hall or Bijan Robinson?

Yeah.

All right, so going into this, I am thinking that he's certainly gonna be a top 10.

Just that's my general thought.

Yep.

Okay?

but I'd rather have Bijan Robinson, right?

Like Breece Hall a lot- Yeah, I'm with you.

I'm totally with you I'm, I'm going with Bijan Robinson.

Jameer Gibbs.

I'm definitely going Jameer Gibbs.

Yeah.

I think Jameer Gibbs might be, for me, if you asked me one running back I'd wanna start a team with right now- I had a feeling- I think it's Jameer Gibbs I had a feeling you would go with Gibbs.

Right.

I think he'd be the guy.

Bijan and Gibbs kind of feel like layups- Yeah in that one.

Yes.

I think it's gonna start to get a lot more interesting, because it's a year-by-year basis.

No doubt.

Jonathan Taylor.

I know.

I'm gonna go with Jonathan Taylor.

But it's close.

It's close.

But I, but I'm with you as well.

Yeah.

It's, you know, it, it's close, but yes, it's, like, Breece Hall is, is nipping at his heels a little bit.

Jonathan Taylor had a phenomenal year, and we certainly can't forget about week 12.

We were thinking he still might've been the MVP of football.

Right.

Right?

Let's not forget that.

And then everything kind of fell off for them.

But yeah, I'm still going JT there.

All right.

It's gonna get a little harder soon.

Christian McCaffrey.

Whoa.

'Cause once again, this is this version of Christian McCaffrey.

That, that's what we gotta remember, and I think this is I, I'm going to take Breece Hall over Ch- Christian McCaffrey.

I, I, I kinda lean with you you know?

I, I, that, I, you know, I think the world of Christian McCaffrey.

He's a hell of a freaking football player.

But m- man, w- we got into, what, week 16 or 17 last year, and Christian McCaffrey didn't have one run over 20 yards, right?

It's, it is going down.

Now, he can catch, and he's smart, and they're gonna build the offense.

Right.

He's still awesome, I get that, but yes, I think I would go Breece Hall over Christian McCaffrey, as I sit here and, and keep it real with you.

I think the one that would be hard for, like, people that are like, "You guys are crazy," you and I often factor in what would Breece Hall look like in Kyle Shanahan's- That, that's what you have to do offense.

Plus another year of a guy that I'd go, "He's just getting into his prime," and that other guy is just another year out of his prime.

And I think we gotta remember that in the NFL.

It goes that quickly.

One, ooh, one, two, three, four years, you climb the ladder and get better.

More times than not, especially at running back, and this is why the position's devalued, you start to get to five, six, seven, and eight, and it's going the other way.

Right.

And here's the case of a guy that's about to hit his prime and a guy that's past his prime.

Breece still 24 years old, by the way.

Yeah.

All right.

Saquon Barkley.

Gosh.

I'm gonna take Saquon.

I'm gonna take Saquon, too, but I think it is very close.

That's all I'm gonna say.

I do think Saquon lost a step last year.

Yeah.

It was not quite the same.

And I, and I'm not, you know, I'm talking just about what I see with the person.

I know the team had the issues.

I'm not worried about stats.

I'm just saying when he broke out and got out in the open a few times, I went, "Ooh, that didn't quite look like the year before," where I was like, "Oh, he's definitely gonna hit his head on the goalpost."

So yeah, I'm going Saquon, but it's a tight one.

I think the next one is really hard- Yeah because of how consistent this guy has been.

Yeah.

James Cook.

I'm gonna go James Cook, too.

Yeah.

I'm gonna take him.

I, I think a lot of James Cook.

He's- He's still underrated somehow- He's Right which is very bizarre.

Right.

I guess 'cause he's on Josh Allen's team, maybe.

Runs hard.

He's awesome in the pass game, like Breece Hall.

He is a score from anywhere, anytime kinda guy.

I think he runs harder between the tackles than Breece Hall.

If I have one complaint about Breece Hall in this awesome Jets uniform behind me, is that I just wish he would run with a little more aggression at times between the tackles and let, l- lower the boom.

All right?

That, that's the one thing.

But yes, I'm going to go James Cook right there in, in a tight one over Breece Hall.

So the homies disagreed.

They liked CMC over Breece, but this one, they liked Breece over Cook.

Wow, okay.

So all in all, I think we're kinda even then- Yeah on the total number of backs.

Yeah, yeah.

Derrick Henry.

I'm gonna take Breece Hall over Derrick Henry.

Okay.

I am.

I, I- I truly don't know even how to quantify that one.

It's, it's a le- it's a, it's a- Yeah it is.

It's a tough one.

Derrick Henry is awesome and a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

But, but I am going to go Breece.

And I think Derrick Henry, hey, listen, him going to Baltimore is one of the greatest end-of-the-career moves ever.

Yeah.

Because, with the quarterback and what they have, he just adds so much to the run game that the run game for them can look better than what it really is.

They've been a top running team in football, right, for a lot of years.

But I would never call them really the top running team in football, because I never felt like they can just impose their will and run on somebody when they have to, right?

Sure.

Like maybe the Lions could with Ben Johnson, and like we've seen the 49ers with McCaffrey, where you just went, "Wait, no, they can just line up and go we're running right downhill, and you're not gonna stop it."

Where the Ravens, you haven't always had that feeling, and it has to come off sometimes with, Lamar faking this or doing that.

And so yeah, I'm gonna go Breece Hall over a legend in Derrick Henry.

The homies went 58% Breece on that as well.

Oh, yeah?

Interesting.

How about Devon Achane?

oof.

I'm gonna go Breece.

Okay.

But, but it's, it's barely, 'cause Devon Achane's another guy that is kinda like Breece, where you go, "No, no, no, he's just hitting his prime."

Right.

And some of these guys we're talking about are going on the downslope of their career.

So that's close one, though.

And Devon Achane is another one of those guys, yeah, you look at and go, "Ooh, is he a top 10 running back?"

You know, he might be.

He certainly.

So, like, right now, what would we have?

He's in the top 10 for sure.

Definitely.

He's prob- The only guys you definitively had over him were Bijan, Gibbs, Jonathan Taylor- Yeah Saquon, and James Cook.

Okay, okay.

So you have five over him right now.

Right.

And, he's gonna be in the top 10, 'cause I don't think you're gonna find five more.

Ashton Jeanty?

No, I'm definitely taking- I know you, I know you like Breece Hall way better definitely taking Breece.

Yeah, I gotta see more from Jeanty, for sure.

Kenneth Walker?

That's a tricky one.

That is a tricky one.

I You know, I, I that is a really damn good one.

I, you know I love Kenneth Walker.

I mean, we could take Walker for this one.

Yeah, I, I think I'd probably lean Walker still.

But it, it is close.

It, it is that.

But yeah, Walker is a guy that's, again, runs hard, and then he's a score from anywhere, anytime guy- Right too.

He's just probably coming to the end of his prime here a little bit.

but yeah, I'm gonna go Walker over Breece, just a little bit.

Josh Jacobs?I'm gonna go Breece.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Just more dynamic.

Yes, exactly right.

You know, B- I like Josh Jacobs, but yeah, right?

For what he is now, it's between the tackles, it's some hard running.

He can make some people miss- He's like a hammer and a nail, yeah in short spots, short spaces.

But yeah, I'm gonna go Breece Hall in that one.

Kyren Williams.

Ooh, I love Kyren, but again, I'm gonna go Breece, Breece Hall on that one, for sure.

I am.

The chat, by the way- Yeah we're pretty much eye to eye on all these last ones.

They're taking Breece on the, on the last couple we've had, besides Kenneth Walker.

Wow.

They agreed that it Kenneth Walker, 63%, so it was a close vote.

Let me just give you one more guy that I would put over him.

Jeremiah Love.

Right.

I'd probably take Jeremiah Love over Breece Hall right now.

I- We didn't put him on this list 'cause he hasn't played.

We didn't put him on.

He hasn't played, I know.

But- And I'm just throwing him out there for food for thought it's an interesting combo.

Yeah.

You know, I mean, I, I'm expe- That's, that's how highly I think of Jeremiah Love and what he can be.

So yeah, that would be the o- the only other one.

But so we're- so basically we had him what?

Sixth, seventh, basically in the running?

Yeah.

If you put, if you put Love in, he would be seventh.

And then, and I think it's really tight between him and Saquon.

I think, you know, we could be here at the end of the year going, "Yeah, it, it is official.

Breece has surpassed Saquon.

He's a little bit better than him right now."

Right.

You know?

A couple guys age out.

Yeah, exactly right.

Yeah.

You know, it But, but, but yeah.

Either way, this is a good, good job by the Jets signing him, and it proves, you know, damn, you're top seven, top eight running back in football?

That means you're damn good.

And you know, he's the best offensive player on that Jets football team.

He's gonna help Geno.

And what I love, and I think we said this on Monday, Frank Reich likes to push the ball down the field.

So that with a running back with the screen game and the run game underneath, is really can stress defenses out.

And that, that's kind of what the Rams have been.

"Hey, I'm- Definitely I'm Stafford.

Oh, it's Puka, it's Puka."

And you're, "Oh, we gotta play pass defense.

Let's back up the secondary."

And it's, "Oh, there's Kyren Williams.

Oh, there's Kyren Williams.

Move back up.

Oh, boom, there's Davante Adams."

See?

You know?

And that's, that's one of the biggest pain in the asses combination.

That's what Detroit had with Goff and Gibbs and, you know, David Montgomery- Right and, and their offense.

Push the ball down the field.

With Jameson.

Smash you in the mi- Yeah.

Yeah, exactly.

Exactly
