Brewers Beat Up on Cardinals Again, Infuriate Them with Pitcher's Gestures
Not only did the Brewers beat the Cardinals 6-0 on Tuesday night, but St. Louis was irate over the way Milwaukee reliever Abner Uribe gestured toward their dugout at the end of the top of the eighth inning.

St. Louis Cardinals weren't just beaten six to nothing by the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday night.
They were embarrassed, and they were taunted.
I'm John Denton with Roundtable Sports.
Milwaukee reliever Abner Uribe got upset with the Cardinals.
he said they were doing signals out of the dugout, acting like they were gonna hit Brewers players.
he got upset that A- Alex Bertelson challenged a strike three call to end the eighth inning, and he turned to the dugout and did a gesture that was, let's just say not classy at best.
the Cardinals were very upset about it.
even Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy was upset about it.
Said he didn't know what came over the kid, and he called it totally unacceptable.
But, you know, it, it was just another ni- ugly night at the ballpark.
the Cardinals were shut out for the third time in the past eight, eight games.
they had seven singles all night, didn't have a extra base hit.
They didn't have an extra base hit on Monday against Jakob Misiorowski, didn't have a hit on Tuesday a- against Kyle Harrison.
They haven't had an extra base hit now in their last 20 innings, dating back to the ninth inning on Saturday night in Cincinnati when, when Jos Fermn hit a pinch hit home run.
the numbers in May are not pretty right now.

He's kept the team in it, but their offense is in a free fall right now.
I mean, five through nine in the order has given the Cardinals very little from night to night.
So, you know, rough night for Michael McGreevy.
He gave up a home run to Jake Bowers.
He gave up a two-run double off the wall to Wilsn Contreras.
Ryan Fernandez came in.
Ryan Fernandez was promoted earlier in the day.
Used a really good slider to get Jake Bowers to strike out, and then he threw a very poor slider thigh-high to Garrett Mitchell, who hit the ball 421 feet off the wall beyond center field for a three-run home run.
So, an ugly night right now.
The Cardinals will be back at it, day game on Wednesday, trying to salvage the series, and then they get a much-needed day off on Thursday before facing the Cubs.
The Cubs are in a bad way right now themselves.
They've lost 10 in a row, so who knows?
you know, it could be two teams really reeling on Friday at Busch Stadium when the Cardinals and Cubs play each other for the first time this season.
But right now, the Cardinals' focus is on trying to win one game from the Brewers on Wednesday, get out of Milwaukee with, with at least one win in the series before heading back home.
