All right.
All right, good job.
You, second place out of, place out of?
Yeah, nine.
Eight, nine.
Yeah.
All right, yeah, how are you feeling after that one?
I feel good.
I done only ran four 400s this year, that felt super easy coming down the home stretch.
I feel real good for tomorrow.
You were racing a little less than usual.
Was that on purpose with the training or how's that going?
Nah, that wasn't on purpose at all.
Just kind of the, the way things have fallen this year.
Okay.
Can you elaborate on that a little?
Yeah, no, well, I guess with the training, the meets I have run, not wanting to go too far at certain times of year to train, and not being able to get in some meets, just a combination of a lot of different factors.
What made, what made USAs important, important one in your schedule?
Two opportunities to run at the highest level, even though it's a B rate of meet.
These are the top people in the world I'm running up against, so it's a good opportunity to get on the track and push myself.
How have you kind of strategized and mapped out the year knowing, like you said, it's a B level meet, but like you still want to get some of those other meets to get those points I assume, right?
Yeah.
How have you kind of like played out to get where you need to be?
Not yet, but I am trying to.
This is a, another reason why I came here.
Like I said, just get high level competition that's not an A or a gold or a diamond league meet.
Shoot, the top three in the USA are the top in the world, so it's a great opportunity to run, get some more points, and try to qualify for the ultimate championship.
Obviously it's challenging leading into certain meets, so how do you like combat like some of like those challenges with training and just like kind of keep yourself focused?
Yeah, no, for sure.
Just keeping confidence.
Season can go up and down.
You can run great one week, come back the next week or two and run terrible.
Just kind of staying level-headed, understanding that it's a part of the season, a part of the journey.
And keep at it.
Keep pushing forward and your time is gonna eventually come for sure.
And how are you feeling just coming into this one for the last couple months?
Very chill.
Deloading, not doing as much, trying to stay as fresh as possible.
Would you say you're peaked at this moment?
100%, I'm ready.
I'm ready for sure.
Awesome.
Well, good luck in your race.
Thank y'all.
Good luck.
