And man, oh man, lap traffic first cost you the race lead, benefits you on that final restart, drag race to the line.
The question is, did you know you had it at the line or did you think it was close?
I kinda knew, you know, my car wasn't that good in the slick and, I had one option.
It's like, "Chris, you need to ball up and get up there.
That's the only way you're gonna make up for it."
You know, Bryce got the lap traffic, Nate, started slapping the curb a little bit.
holy hell, this is awesome.
I can't thank my guys enough.
it's, it, it's pretty tough to keep coming here when, you got, you got a sport that doesn't love you back as much as you love it sometimes.
It, and, we just don't know when to quit.
And I remember pill draw, you got your pill draw number, and I saw a smile on your face.
Did you know right there that tonight could have been a good night?
Well, we, we've been good all night and, you know, we changed some stuff and, you know, it, it was almost too easy.
But, but you know, th- this group of guys, you know, you, you get speed week guys together, Attica, Fremont guys and, and Bryce and Schaefer, and, it, it's a lot harder than what I remember it being.
And if I would've tried this hard my whole career, I probably, probably would've done a little bit better.
But I can't thank Scott enough, Lexi and, Buddy, you know, Michael, Kisler Engines, David Kisler, Real American Beer, Fleet Financial, just can't thank everybody enough.
