Bryce, how'd you get the news?
I kinda had a feeling.
We didn't have a lineup when I showed up to the game in Salt Lake on Sunday, and me and Jess were out of the lineup, and usually we're in there five or six times a week, so figured something was up, and then found out after the game.
Bryce, how do you avoid coming up here trying to do too much?
You know, what's going on with the team, and obviously there's some pressure and that sort of thing.
Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't say there's any pressure.
you know, I, I got a little taste of it last year, so, I think that helps out and I'm just, I'm fortunate to have another opportunity to be here and be in the big leagues, and these guys are great.
just very grateful to be here.
Bryce, do you have a, a family coming in for this one, too?
Yeah.
My mom will be here and my aunt will be here, so, yeah, I got, I got a little bit of family.
Not the 20-person crowd I had at my debut, but I think, they'll start, you know, sprinkling in as the, the weeks go on.
How, how do you think that the, the little debut that you had last year, how is it helping you today?
Yeah, I mean, you know, I think it's kinda been there, done that type of thing.
you know, I got a, a couple first out the way, so, you know, I kinda know what to expect.
you know, I'm just, like I said, I'm just glad to be here, and, you know, having gotten my feet wet already definitely gives me more confidence being here.
When you walk in, see the locker, kinda see the, see the unity, and kinda take a little deep breath, going, "Man, it's the show again."
Yeah.
Yeah, for sure.
you know, this is something that obviously everyone dreams of and, you know, I was very confident in the work I was able to get done in Triple-A, the last month.
So being back here, obviously that was my goal again back here, once I found out I was starting the year in Triple-A.
So being here is a good feeling and I'm ready to, you know, hopefully provide a spark to this offense.
Hey Bryce, when you started your season with Sacramento, what would you kinda say your goals were offensively?
What'd you really wanna work on, and how do you feel you have done with that?
yeah, I mean, I think a big thing for me was, you know, taking my walks.
you know, I think getting on base is huge for me, and being a power guy, you know, I, I'm starting to realize guys are trying to pitch around me more than, you know, attacking me at that level at least.
So, you know, being more picky, taking my walks and, you know, being a power guy, there's gonna be strikeouts involved and whatnot.
You can say all you want about that, but if I'm getting on base, if I'm walking, I think it all evens out, so.
Bryce, I know you say, you know, there is no pressure to perform, but, you know, you are the top prospect.
This team has lost six straight and the offense has been struggling.
How do you ensure for yourself that, you know, kind of block that out and just focus on the task at hand a- as opposed to, you know, maybe succumbing to that pressure?
Yeah, I mean, like I said, I'm just grateful to be here.
you know, it was, it was tough news, you know, learning that I was gonna be starting in Triple-A, so, you know, obviously I wanna be here and help the team win, so, I'm gonna do my best to do that.
And like I said, just grateful to be here, grateful to have a locker back in here and, and be with these guys.
And, you know, I got, I got a lot of confidence in this group, regardless of where they're at right now.

It's very early and, like I said, I think me and Jess are gonna provide a spark.
What kind of travel logistics were to, for you to get here today?
I flew back with, the River Cats last night to Sac.
Spent the night at my house and then drove over this morning.
So it's been a long night.
We got in at, like, midnight.
I've been packing nonstop.
So, just glad to be here and, you know, be done packing.
What is that drive like?
A couple hours and coming back to Oracle Park.
I mean- Yeah a lot of thoughts, I'm sure, in your head to come back here.
Yeah.
No, it was great.
I mean, I was, I was excited.
hour-and-a-half drive and little rain on the way, so my car, my car needed a wash, so I appreciated the rain.
But, yeah, I mean, I'm just, I was just very excited to get here.
Coming over the bridge, it's a beautiful view, so I'm just glad to be here.
