Oh, how s- how tough a bargain did he strike?
He, nah, he was very nice about it.
He, he wanted a picture and a signed bat and ball, so that's easy.
Yeah.
I'm just, I'm glad I got it back.
My mom was, and my mom and my aunt were out there, so that was cool.
What, what's the feeling when you connect with a ball like that and you know it's your first big-league home run?
It's very cool.
I had a moment, like, after the home run and I was kind of on the rail in the dugout, and I was kind of trying to process what happened.
And then I realized I didn't really remember much of it.
Like, I really remembered only coming around third and, like, seeing Willie and, and Chappy when I, after I touched home.
But definitely blacked out a little bit.
And the pitch was like being out of your hands.
How were you able to hit it out?
Yeah.
I mean, I'm just, I'm always ready to hit the fastball, so you know, obvi- I, I saw it early, so I was just, at that point, just trying to stay tight and turn, and got the barrel to it.
So they've been, they've been pitching me inside a lot, so hopefully, you know, continue to earn respect in there and have them kind of back off a little bit and, and be smart about, like, swinging decisions over there.
Just kind of a bummer it comes in a game like this.
You can't, like, maybe fully- Yeah celebrate it.
Yeah.
I mean, I, obviously I'd love to win, and that's all that matters here is, is winning games.
And that's what I want to try and do is help the team win.
So, you know, we'll, we'll celebrate hopefully tomorrow after we win the series.
And, yeah, I mean, it is what it is, you know.
Go out tomorrow and try and handle business, take the series.
