There's the obvious Jayden Blue angle, again, as I just explained it.
If you wanna get some more explosive plays, then you will likely wanna get Jayden Blue some carries as much as, a- as long as he figures out the consistency issues that kept him off the field as a rookie.
But there's gotta be something more than that, 'cause Jayden Blue is a very specific running back archetype.
Let's say for instance that Jayden Blue does not work out.
Let's speculate here and imagine for a second that the same consistency issues exist in year two, and Jayden Blue once again shocks us as a healthy scratch throughout the season.
Let's say that happens.
Then how do the Cowboys treat Javante Williams?
Is it still gonna be a three-down workhorse and they're gonna treat him like one of the NFL's elite?
Or are they gonna be happy splitting the reps between him and Javante Williams or Malik Davis, whoever it may be, just to try to keep Javante's legs fresher or just to try to change things up and keep the opposing defense on their toes and maybe have a change of pace?
