Jordan Mailata Called Eagles OC Sean Mannion An "Evil Genius"
Jordan Mailata had high praise for new Eagles Offensive Coordinator Sean Mannion, calling him an "evil genius" and the smartest offensive mind in the building as excitement continues to grow around Philadelphia's new-look offense.

He says, quote, "Sean Mannion is an evil genius.
The guy knows ball.
If I were to lock the three smartest people in the building in a room together, Sean would be there.
He'd probably be by himself."
That is a strong phrase of praise right there.
I mean, that's not saying, like, Sean Mannion is gonna help us out and get us back on track.
He's saying Sean Mannion is the smartest offensive mind by far in this organization.
Not a shot towards Nick Sirianni, just credit towards Sean Mannion.
Like, this guy knows the game, and he pulls the experience from being a former player, then being an assistant coach who was a quick riser, and now being the Eagles OC.
And all we have to go off is what others have said about him.
Is it crazy to dream?
Is it crazy to wonder if Sean Mannion can end up being one of the best coordinators in the NFL?
I know we're early on.
We have to see it in game action.
My fear is actually more of he is so good that he ends up getting a coaching job somewhere as a head coach in a year or two, and then the Eagles have to go through this recurrent cycle of let's get a new coordinator.
Let's try to build a new system around Jalen Hurts.
I believe that Sean Mannion can be the missing piece.
And I've always said, look at the two successful runs the Eagles had with Kellen Moore and with Shane Steichen.
It was literally night and day with a solid, competent coordinator
