Talk about the accountability factor.
Obviously in the game the other day that there was about 16 straight completions by the opposing offense.
You guys kind of take that personally when you, you come into this week?
Absolutely, um, you know, as a secondary, we, we never want to put that on our resume, but.
It happens, so now we just have to learn from it, and we have, obviously.
Just try to, you know, put that to rest and not let that happen again.
Was there an emphasis on, you know, the , the intensity or the physicality in practice at this, No, making plays is the mindset, you know, you know, breaking up a pass, making an interception, it's a mindset, and yeah, it comes down to your detail and your discipline, but when the ball is in the air, you gotta go get it.
So that's a, as a collective, the mindset that.
Joe is still the position coach and Rob Leonard just switched roles, but how, how different is like what you're being asked to do this year from last year?
How's that relate?
I think in terms of what we're doing, it's a little different.
So obviously, there was a learning curve there, just learning.
Obviously, with the new DC there's gonna be some new things schematically, but, you know, as a cornerback, your rule is pretty simple.
Don't let him catch the ball.
So, um, that pretty much stays the same, obviously, it comes in different ways, but um the overall rule is pretty much the same.
But for me personally, You know, have an year under my belt, and we got a lot of young DBs in the room trying to be a leader and a resource to them just to make them better and feel more comfortable and help them in any way that I can.
Talk about that young DB room and obviously you're still young yourself, that's really competitive.
How do you manage to find that, you know, balance between having to compete against these guys for a job but also like helping them out along the way as a teammate?
I mean, the competition comes down to who's gonna be the best, and I want the best guy out there.
And if it's me, that's great.
If it's not me, you know, obviously, I'm gonna keep competing to make it that way, but you're only as strong as your weakest link.
So you got to bring everyone along with you in that room because we're gonna need all of them.
