Raiders OL Coach Rick Dennison on Klint Kubiak's Training Camp
Video Transcript
We had some guys that kind of reshaped the bodies in the offseason, did a good job, and, and, uh, I think we're matching the speed pretty well.
It just must have been like seeing, you know, Clint Kubiak, you know, run his first training camp as a, as a head coach.
In the system and seeing him in this role must have been like seeing him operate.
I think he's done a great job.
I think he's got a clear message.
There's no agendas.
This is, we're all trying to get better.
It's going to take all of us.
I think he's done a really good job, but I kind of expected that when I decided to come here, and that would be the only reason I'd come here because I felt really good about what's going to do.
You see Trey Zoo moving around a lot on the on the line.
How much of that is, is wanting to see him play a lot of.
See how versatile he is and how much of it is trying to find a spot for him specifically.
I think it's just versatility.
I think you guys got a, a, a good skill set along with a lot of them, all right?
I think a lot of guys can move around, uh, and we're just trying to see, you know, let him use all the skills he's got to see what looks best, and we're trying to find the best spot.
I don't know what those are gonna be right now.
It's it's way too early to figure that one out.
We gotta play a couple of games in my mind.
And when we do, you know, it's good to say, you know, Trey's played this spot and that spot.
He's played a lot of spots.
So, but I've had other guys play admit, you know, guards have, both our guards have flipped back and forth.
We had tackles flip back and forth.
I think everybody's done a really good job of, of kind of working their assignments on different sides.
It, it's, it's not as easy as it, as it looks just saying I'm going from the left to the right.
Footwork is a lot tougher than you think.
But he's done a good job and so the rest.
