Report: Cowboys made three offers for Crosby

We know the Cowboys were interested.
This was point number two from the Ryan McFadden article that caught my eye.
We had heard the reporting that they were willing to go first round pick, second round pick, but not a player.
Yeah.
Now, the Raiders wanted two ones and a player.
They, they got two ones and no player.
The Cowboys were willing to do a one and a two with no player.
One, one was one Wait, wait.
They made- One scenario was, like, a first rounder with Odighizuwa, right?
Wasn't that- Right one offer?

Yep.
The first offer, the first offer was the 20th overall pick in the draft this year, 'cause the Cowboys have two picks, 12 and 20.
It was 20th overall and Ose Odighizuwa, who was traded eventually to the 49ers, and he probably We talked about the tax stuff.
That's how we started down the tax rabbit hole, going from 0 to 13.3%, Texas to California.
He coulda gone Texas, Nevada, and been still at 0%.
Yeah.
So Ose Odighizuwa probably not happy that the Cowboys didn't offer a little more to get that done.
So 20 and Ose Odighizuwa, Raiders said no.
Then it became the 12th overall pick and a third round pick.
So that upgraded from 20 to 12, third round pick, no Odighizuwa, Raiders say no.
The last best offer, 12th overall pick and a second round pick, and the Raiders said no, and they did the deal with the Ravens.
So the Cowboys were trying.
Yeah.
This wasn't just, "Hey, how about this?"
They made three different offers in an effort to make it happen, and the Raiders said no to each one.
Yeah.
It, it, it's, it, it, it's cool to hear that story.
I, we know, we kinda got the inklings or thought that the Cowboys were trying.
Didn't know how serious, but that lets you know that they were serious about trying to get Maxx Crosby.
And I think full circle is just that, i- you know, the, the My mind goes to, whoa, it'd been interesting if he went down there, because we've heard, right?
The, the, what, what was it, the Cowboys surgeon, doctor, he's somebody that, that looked at, you know, Maxx Crosby's knee or the, the images of that.
Would that have trade gone through when they evaluated him?
I don't know.
There are just so many scenarios, and I still sit here and look at it, and just go, would the Raiders or would they s- look to shop Maxx Crosby again?
Is it totally dead?
you know, with, with knowing that the Cowboys were this serious in trying to get him.
I, I'm interested to know, but yeah, there, there was a lotta what if possibilities there.
