Tyron, what do you think of this decision by Russell Wilson?
I'm happy for him.

Retirement is great.
Uh, Russ had it in the.
Incredible career.
10 time Pro Bowl, Super Bowl champion, had the chance to, to get the, the, the second one, and we all know how that, how that played out.
But, um, happy for him, CBS and, and all those great things.
This media side is a lot of work.
I have deep, deep respect and appreciation for the media and everything that goes into it, um, so congratulations to Russell Wilson, Mike.

Welcome to the real grind, Russell Wilson.
Um, I went back and, and, and thought about, you know, 3rd round pick, and then all of a sudden everybody almost drafted Russell Wilson.
Remember that whole thing about how we were gonna take, uh, uh, you, you guys had 3 rounds to take him, or 2.5 rounds, whatever, um, but I do remember talking to one talent evaluator.
I'm like, come on, really, did you like this?
He's like, yeah.
I was like , but he's too small.
Like why would you?
He goes, yeah, but he's, he's got that quick motion.
In the pocket where he moves to create the window for him to throw, and then throughout his career, you start to lose a little bit of that.
I think that's where he stopped becoming the guy that really could create a lot of things, uh, but still was able to find some magic moments along the way, that throw in Buffalo that he made.
I give Russell Wilson all the credit for what he accomplished on the field.
Um, and the fact that he was, you know, a leader in his own way, and, and now he's going to do the media in his own way, and it may not register with all people, but Russ is going to be genuine and Russ is going to be Russ gonna be cool.
The Seahawks, Russ was awesome to watch, just a really important figure, entertaining style of play, huge games, huge throws, huge moments, really, really cool .
I mean, I, I, I remember the origin story and Mike talked.
About him getting drafted, goes to the Seahawks who had just paid Matt Flynn from the Packers a whole bunch of money to be their franchise quarterback.
And the second Russell Wilson gets there, he just had it.
He could immediately ball and you watched him, whether it was us in the preseason or once he got to regular season games or Pete Carroll there in Seahawks camp, and they were all like , well, this guy just immediately is a natural.
We have to put him on the field.
And I mean this game obviously one of the most one-sided Super Bowls you've ever seen, doing huge parts of the Seahawks' defense, of course, but, you know, it, we went through these teams later and it's Denver and it's Pittsburgh and it's the Giants.
Never mind all that.
I just, the Seahawks' Russell Wilson was an incredible, incredible figure to watch.
I remember when he would have an open rivalry with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
This is prime Aaron Rodgers.
At one point they were 4 and 4 against each other.
Rodgers had won 4.
Russ had won 4, and the home team had won in all 8 games.
It was a really cool rivalry, and the NFC title game is one of the strangest, most outlandish football games in the history of the league.
It's a lot of good memories, and most of them with Seattle.
Mhm.
There's a couple of new guys in the media this year that have just stepped off the field.
Drew Brees going full time with Fox, Mike Tomlin with NBC, and now Russell Wilson with CBS.
Congratulations to him once again on his career.
