Seattle Mariners 6-Man Rotation is Very Risky For This Reason
The Mariners are about to embark on a 10-game in 10-day road trip through the Eastern Time Zone, and they'll do so with questions about their pitching plan.

I am not a huge fan of the six-man rotation.
And look, it has nothing to do with Bryce Miller, and nothing to do with Luis Castillo, and it's nothing to do with which starter's playing whe- it has nothing to do with any of that.
There's a part of me that's disappointed that the six-man rotation means one less Brian Wu start and one less Logan Gilbert start.
That is part of it.
But the main thing for me, the main reason why I'm not a fan of this, is I hate the idea of the Seattle Mariners leaving the bullpen short when going on a 10-game and 10-day road trip through the East Coast.
We know how hard 10 games in 10 days is in general.
It's harder when it's on the road.
I think it is hardest when it is through the Eastern Time Zone.
The Mariners anecdotally, to me, seem to struggle through the Eastern Time Zone.
Now, typically, I think those struggles are for Philly, and for Boston, and for New York, and for Toronto, and for, Tampa, some of these teams that are usually better.
But I think 10 games in 10 days is a situation where I don't really want my bullpen to be vulnerable and to be exposed, and I think that that is the case when you are playing a man down
