Split Squads Take Fields for San Francisco Giants
A couple of Saturday games for San Francisco Giants will give players more time to get in Spring Training work.

Hey, I'm Joe Rutland with Giants Roundtable for Roundtable Sports.
San Francisco Giants are ten and two in Cactus League play after defeating the Cincinnati Reds on Friday.
Now, on Saturday, the Giants playing split squad games.
One split squad will be going up against the Texas Rangers.
First pitch there is three oh five PM Eastern Time.
And the other split squad will be going up against the Arizona Diamondbacks, with that first pitch at three ten PM Eastern Time.
The Giants are looking to, of course, get ready for the regular season, and opening day is just a couple of weeks away now.
It feels like it, and so a little bit longer than that.
But still, the Giants are getting ready.
Tony Vitello is getting ready to enter his first big league season as a manager.
It should be interesting to see how Vitello works with the ball club this season.
He's getting some hands-on experience right now in spring training with coaches like Ron Washington along his side to help him.
Now, in case you missed it, on Friday night, Logan Webb went out and pitched four innings for Team USA and was incredible against Team Brazil.
He only gave up a first-inning home run, but he had his fastball, slider, curveball working immaculately well as Team USA went on to beat Team Brazil fifteen-five at Minute Maid Park in Houston as part of the World Baseball Classic.

And of course, you have the Giants split squad games on Saturday, and you have the rest of their Cactus League schedule leading into what should be an exciting season in twenty twenty-six.
And it w-- I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants have a winning record this season.
Vitello's bringing in a new mindset, a new focused, agenda, if you will, for the ball club.
And with the team they have right now, it's a possibility Giants finish above five hundred this season, which would be a great, great thing for Giants fans who come out to Oracle Park and wanted to see their team succeed really a whole lot.
And it hadn't happened in the past couple of seasons, but we'll see what happens this season, folks.
