Good when you all are.

Tony, Gla- Glasnow obviously had a, had super good stuff today.

What, what was it in particular that was giving your guys trouble?

ahead of guys, which is obviously a common theme when that goes well for that long of a game.

But able to get in on righties, seemed like, fastball in on Geez.

Fastball in on lefties is what I meant to say.

you know, opposite side hitters.

And then the curve ball was a factor, which it kinda always is, but it was a factor today.

And, you know, for whatever reason, it, it wasn't a very offensive series, even though you look up and down the nine-man lineups a- and then even some of the guys that played off the bench, in particular for them, there's, there's a lot of firepower in there.

But it was a, you know, strong defense and pitching-orientated series and, and their guy just had a little bit better of a go at it than us today.

Tony, what are, what are you seeing from Logan?

this is, like, the roughest stretch of his career over five or six games.

what did, what did you think from, of him today?

Yeah.

is that statistical?

You guys Yes?

Yeah.

you know, uh- Compared to the season.

Sure.

No, I, I, I know what you're saying.

I'm just A- and I'm not questioning you, I'm just wondering if that's kinda what it is.

'Cause I know at different times we look back there and, you know, to us, I know a big thing is that first outing, just on paper, you know, was a little bit of a, a scar or a black eye there, and you're kinda treading water, running in sand, however you wanna phrase it, trying to make up for that or, or make that go away.

That's tough to do in, you know, one, two, three outings.

So, you know, maybe at times he was being either too hard on himself or, or trying a little too hard to, erase the past or, you, you know, make up for things like that.

And again, these are just my theories.

But if, if you just hone in on today, it, it's just not gonna happen.

I, I'm all for us doing it down the road, but to hold their entire lineup down for three straight days is, is just not something that you'd go to Vegas and roll the dice on.

So, to me, he had a strong outing today.

I know there's a couple pitches he'd like to take away.

Maybe you take a walk away, maybe you take, you know, one other pitch selection away.

but otherwise, he was really good for us.

And we didn't have that many opportunities.

you know, last night our defense played a big factor.

Today we had a couple opportunities to do something outstanding.

I mean, I in my opinion, no one, you know, failed to do something, but, you know, Ramos makes a great throw.

The ball just kinda died when it, when it hit the grass.

you know, and maybe we do something different in one of those other plays, and it's only one or two runs.

So my, my rambling is to state my case unintelligently, because we're on the spot right after the, the game.

But I, I thought he did what he needed to do for us today.

It's Webby, so he's always gonna wanna do better.

but obviously you gotta score at least one if you wanna win, and then, you know, against this team, you're probably gonna have to get more than one.

It, it probably didn't wind up factoring at all, but Drew, we're used to seeing such good throws from Drew.

Is, is his shoulder okay?

Kinda dribbled that one.

Yeah, more than fine.

I, I think, you know, he's actually You know, the throw in Washington, he came up throwing like a madman, and it was very accurate.

And then today, all juiced up to throw that one in, where Muncy scored.

so yeah, m- more than fine.

you know, the ones left short, I just think in general, you know, when those balls are hit to the walls, an outfielder, your job's to get it in as quick as possible, and it's amongst chaos.

But some air under the throw would help.

But there, there wasn't lack of air under the throw because of health.

He's, he's good.

You guys are- Logan, how did that feel, just pitch-wise, compared to some of the previous ones?

you know, it's weird.

I, I honestly thought that was probably the better games I've, one of the better ones I've thrown this year.

just wish I could couple pitches I could take back in that one inning.

but, you know, Patty did a great job, defense was great.

but yeah, just, you know, you're gonna play against a good team like this, you gotta keep it at a closer game, I would say.

And it's still on me.

So still, still working, still trying to get back to, you know, what I'm expecting of myself and, you know, wish I, could've kept it closer.

Logan, T- Tony was just saying that sometimes you're kinda hard on yourself.

Mm-hmm.

Is that Do you Is that a good thing, or is that potentially sometimes detrimental for you?

probably a little bit of both, to be honest.

But, the best guys I've ever been around were always kinda hard on themselves.

you know, I expect, I expect myself to be the best version of myself every time I, I pitch.

And every day I I'm in here in between, I pi- every, in between outings.

and, yeah, I, I need to be better.

I know that.

and so some- like I said, sometimes it's good things.

I think there's a positive way of doing it, and there's also a negative way of doing it, and I've probably been on the more negative side.

But, I'm okay with that.

I feel like I sometimes you need to be hard on yourself.

As a pitching staff, you guys hold them to six runs through the three games.

You take the series.

I mean, is that something that you guys can, some, build some confidence off of?

I think every It, it, you know, if We need to look at every series the exact same way.

It's not that, you know, it cares who we face.

and I think if you stack series wins, at the end of the season, you're gonna look up and you're gonna be happy with how the, the season went.

So, yeah, definitely it's, you know, it's fun watching these guys play the first two games, and then today was super excited.

like I said, wish I could've kept it closer and, you know, have a-Easier shot at it at the end, but, yeah, proud of, proud of the guys for, you know, playing.

so onto the next.

Luis, what, what did they give you the extra day this time?

To really They kind of moved you up and had you on turn the first couple of games.

no, I was on the same one.

You were?

They, they moved Roop up a day.

Okay.

and then Malley a day back.

Okay.

So I was on the same one.

Yes.

Five games I've been on the It's weird.

Ear-early in the season, you- there's a lot of off days.

haven't thrown on I think I've had one outing where it's on a normal five-day rest.

So, I think the next month is pretty much five-day rest the whole time, so, or four-day rest, technically.

kind of excited to get back to that.

But then it's obviously still early, and you guys have been really more concerned with yourselves than anything else, but does taking two of three from the Dodgers here still sort of mean something a little extra?

Yeah, I mean, anytime, anytime we play these guys, anytime we play these guys, it's always a little extra, right?

There's, I mean, it's one of the best rival-rivalries in sports.

so, just, like, excited that we showed a lot of grit the first, you know, the, all three games, to be honest.

I know it didn't go the way we wanted it to today, but, felt, you know, good in the clubhouse.

It didn't seem like we were too amped up or too excited to face these guys, you know.

I know, I know who they are.

Everyone knows who they are, but, at the end of the day, you gotta treat every opponent as the same.

Ohtani was asked after the game last night, "Is this the Giants pitching?

Is it you?"

And he sort of said, "Maybe a little bit of both."

How do you-- did you feel about your guys' game plan against Ohtani this series?

How would you describe it?

Yeah, I mean, I don't know.

you know, I don't So the fact that he threw 100 pitches yesterday and had to hit and then probably slept, I don't know, seven, eight hours and then come back and hit today, it's gotta be exhausting.

so, I mean, it's, it's really impressive to watch, to see what he does, every single day.

like I said, the fact that he can even, you know, he was the starting pitcher yesterday, and he's leading off today and running around.

It's, as a baseball fan, it's cool to watch.

So, but to answer your question, I don't, I don't, I don't know.

Probably, not even shouldn't ask, but Rushing yesterday talked about, you know, the whole thing with Jung-hoo and what it looked like he said when Jung-hoo was hurt.

and then again today, obviously didn't really look like there was any intent with What would you say about getting, hitting Rush-Rushing?

What thing with Jung-hoo?

Oh, he, was on video.

It, it looked like he was saying kinda something disparaging when Ju-when he was hurt.

Oh, I didn't even see that.

Where were you trying to go with that pitch to him?

just fast ball inside.

Only one in the lineup to reach base against Glasnow.

Just what made him such a, you know, tough AB today?

I mean, Glasnow is one of the best pitcher in the league.

So you know, everybody know Glasnow can do.

And, he did a really good job today.

So we just keep continue play hard and then let's see what happen tomorrow.

And then the, the good thing is we win the series, so we just need to keep continue win the series.

You've obviously played a lot against the Dodgers here the last few years.

Taking a series from them in particular, does that mean anything about you guys and where you are right now after a little bit of a slow start?

Yeah, I mean, Dodgers, San Diego, Arizona, for me they are the same team.

So we just, we just need to go there and play the game.

So we just need to go there, enjoy, and then try to win series, like I say.

Because I think it was in the, in the sixth inning, Rushing gets hit, and then on that double play ball, he slides, and it's a couple feet outside of the baseline.

Just what did you make of that slide?

that, that's a, the I mean, the umpire ma- the umpire say it's, it's double play because he, he has slide to Willy feet, and then that's, for me, it's not no good.

It's not good baseball there.

So it's not clean baseball there.

So we just, thank God Willy's good, and then we made the double play.

Do you think that was dirty?

I mean, it's dirty, but for me it's, it's a, this, this is baseball for me.

What did you think of, the pitching staff for you guys?

You, you held them to four runs this series.

I mean, they , like I say every time, we have a really good relievers, especially Logan.

Logan Webb did a really good job today.

So he lose the game, but he pitched really good.

So we just need to keep continuing play hard and then try to, try to score some run for the pitchers.

Hey, Luis, you guys are playing well.

You're winning series.

You haven't gotten a lot out of Rafi yet.

I know you haven't played with him very long, but are you expecting that to change?

Are you expecting that to turn around soon?

For who?

Rafi.

Devers?

Yeah.

I mean, he's a player.

He's a, he's a all-star, so it's still early.

He got, I think, 100 AB already, but it's a l- it's a long season.

So I think he just keep g- he just need to keep continuing work.

And, I trust him.

I trust everybody here.
