Two Former Las Vegas Raiders Are On The Move
Justin Churchill of A to Z Sports notes that two former Las Vegas Raiders were signed recently, weeks before kickoff of the 2026 season. Jamal Adams is headed to Minnesota to play for the Vikings and the Dolphins signed former fourth-overall pick Clelin Ferrell as well. What does this say about these two players and their spots in their careers, as well as the Raiders as a whole?

You don't just last eight seasons in the NFL because you're completely terrible.
Now, should Clelin Ferrell have been a former number four overall pick by the Las Vegas Raiders?
No, but that's the Raiders' fault, not Ferrell's fault.
I'm Justin Churchill of AZ Sports Las Vegas, and there are two former Raiders players who have signed with new teams and hopefully have a new home for the twenty twenty-six season.
Now, the Dolphins signed, like we said, former edge Clelin Ferrell and waived defensive lineman Khalil Saunders.
Now, Ferrell has bounced around the league a bit, since not being retained by the Raiders.
He played for the Raiders for four years, we all know that story, and then went to the Forty-Niners and then played for the Commanders, back to the Forty-Niners, and now he sees himself on the Dolphins, and this could be a very good opportunity for him.
The Dolphins are probably not gonna be a very good team.
And so maybe this will give him another opportunity to show that he can play.
And then on the other hand, you've got Jamal Adams, who played linebacker for the Raiders last year primarily.
Obviously, we know him as a safety.
He signed with the Minnesota Vikings on Monday, and maybe that's a good fit for him.
Maybe, maybe they play him the right way that he can be played because we know that the guy's not that great dropping back into coverage.
He's really good in pursuit.
He's really good in the run.
He had a few tackles for a loss last year, even a sack or two.
So yeah, hopefully, you know, the saying, "Once a Raider, always a Raider," it, it brings on.
Hopefully that these guys can find themselves a new home, and they can stick around even longer, than they currently have been.
