Two Board members (with one alternate) are appointed as Legislative Liaisons and one Board member (with one alternate) is appointed as Delegate to the Virginia School Boards Association to guide the development of the Board’s legislative program and to provide input to the Virginia School Boards Association's (VSBA) legislative program in coordination with the Office of Government Relations; advocate with the appropriate legislative and governmental bodies; and report to the Board on current issues.
