Ms. Fruchterman is from Falls Church, Virginia. Her parents were from Cuba, and her first language was Spanish. She also speaks English. She believes Annandale Terrace is the "best school in the County" and finds joy there when she sees students smiling and laughing with their peers.
A fun fact about her is that she has four children, all of whom are FCPS graduates, and a seven-month-old granddaughter. Her hobbies include playing pickleball, hiking, and swimming. Her favorite treat is ice cream.
