The school health room is reminding parents and guardians that all medication stored in the health room must be picked up no later than the student dismissal time on the last day of school. Medication left in the health room after that time will be destroyed. It is school policy that medications must be picked up by the parent or guardian. Medication cannot be sent home with your student.
Medication authorization forms for next school year may be obtained from the school or online at https://www.fcps.edu/resources/student-safety-and-wellness/school-health-services .
FSO Arts Integration Showcase EventOn Sunday, June 9th, Woodburn will be participating in the annual FSO Arts Integration Showcase event. This features Woodburn 3rd and 4th grade student visual art and students are invited to attend an FSO concert afterwards that features music they’ve been learning about in school. This year students have been working with Rhapsody in Blue and the FSO will also premier a new piece titled Rhapsody in Red, White, and Blue. This promises to be a really fun and inspiring event and we hope you will join us. If you are interested in attending the concert, please email Ms. Ragona, [email protected] and Mr. Kettler, [email protected] , to request tickets. These tickets are being offered for free to our Woodburn community because of our partnership with the FSO. If possible, please let us know by May 31st if you need tickets!
