Adult English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

The FCPS Adult ESOL program provides adult students with the practical English language they need in their everyday lives, as well as English skills that will help them advance in their education or careers.

All new students must take an intake test before registering for a class.

All classes offered by FCPS Adult ESOL are in-person.

For New Student Intake testing

Find the location where you want to study from the chart below.
Choose the class schedule that is convenient for you.
Go to the testing for that location and class time. No appointment is necessary. You must attend testing at the location and time you want classes.

Note: Because of high demand and limited space, it’s very important to attend testing at the location and time you want classes.

Adult English (ESOL) Classes begin July 1, 2024 and run for 8 weeks

Cost for Classes

We accept credit cards, checks, or money orders. We do not accept cash.

AM Classes: $150 + book
PM Classes: $75 + book
Advanced Specialty classes: prices vary ( See specialty classes for more information )

FCPS Adult ESOL Program follows the guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a federal law that protects the confidentiality of and access to learners’ personally identifiable information and education records. From entry at intake to your exit from our program, your individual information and records will always be kept confidential and secure unless you specifically authorize otherwise.
