Method: advertisers.channels.create

  • This document details the process of creating a new channel using the Display & Video 360 API v3, which has been sunset in favor of v4.

  • The HTTP request to create a channel uses a POST method and includes the advertiser ID in the URL.

  • The request requires either an advertiserId as a path parameter or a partnerId as a query parameter to identify the owner of the channel.

  • The request body should contain a Channel object, and a successful response will also contain a Channel object representing the newly created channel.

  • Authorization requires the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video OAuth scope.

Creates a new channel. Returns the newly created channel if successful.

POST https://displayvideo.googleapis.com/v3/advertisers/{advertiserId}/channels

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
Union parameter owner . Required. Identifies which DV360 entity owns the channel. owner can be only one of the following:
advertiserId

string ( int64 format)

The ID of the advertiser that owns the created channel.

Query parameters

Parameters
Union parameter owner . Required. Identifies which DV360 entity owns the channel. owner can be only one of the following:
partnerId

string ( int64 format)

The ID of the partner that owns the created channel.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Channel .

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of Channel .

Requires the following OAuth scope:
