10/18&19に上級で出たincandescent light bulb 白熱灯こんなややこしいの、覚えられない～！でもブログに「印鑑で銭湯」と書いていらっしゃる方がいて、ふふっ、それでやっと頭に入った私。このあと、どうやって白熱灯と結びつけるかが大事なポイントなんですが、今回は、もう覚えてしまいました。語呂合わせという覚え方は、一生懸命考えてもいざ思い出そうとしてもその語呂が全然出てこなくて、私は、ダメなんですが、たまにはいいですね。ちなみに蛍光灯は fluorescent light(bulb)そのincandescentが、今日CNN Newsをweb上で読んでいたらでてきました。やっぱり地球温暖化への取り組みの話。Gore hails Sarkozy's green deal[October 25, 2007 -- Updated 1717 GMT (0117 HKT)]France will eliminate all energy waste by households and ban incandescent light bulbs and polluting cars, under proposals announced Thursday by President Nicolas Sarkozy, who also met with former Vice President Al GoreSarkozy said that by 2020, all new buildings should "produce more energy than they consume," although he did not elaborate. ペンパルからの手紙
ネット上でペンパルを探すサイトに登録して数か月が経ちました。数人からメッセージが届き、そのうちのオランダ人と順調にメールを交換していました。それがこの1か月ほど、また数人からメッセージが届き、もう4人（アメリカ人２人・イギリス人・オランダ人）にもなってしまいました。英文メールがスラスラ書けるわけでもなく、楽しみながらも苦労しています。そのうちの一人、アメリカマサチューセッツ州に住む（50代の女性）に昨日短いメールを送ったのですが、今日、早速返事がきました。Thank you, thank you!That was one of the most beautiful e-mails I have ever received! PSPで遊んでみました♪
PSPって言われても、何の略かも知らなかったゲーム音痴の私ですが・・・ついついダンナに「PSPでDVDの動画が再生できるみたいよ」の一言で、すっかりダンナがその気になり、ブルーの新型PSPをダンナが衝動買いしてきた・・・手持ちのDVDから何とかPSPで再生できる方式に変える。ほとんど下調べもせず、ネットの情報を頼りにやってみたら30分ほどでできた。もっと時間がかかるかと思ったけど、これならOK！！？？これで購入にGO!だったのですが・・・あ。。。。洋画は、英語音声・・・・日本語字幕なしでは、全然わかりません。。。こんな大事な事に気づきませんでした。で、いろいろ格闘すること2日。何とか日本語字幕付きで再生に成功。でも・・・・ひとつの映画ファイルを作成するのに3時間くらいかかった。。。。現実問題、バカげてる。。。でも、もう４つくらい作成しました。何やってんだか・・・画像、評判通り、綺麗です。このPSP。ダンナが会社に持って行ってしまうので、誰のために格闘してるんだかわかりませんが、ムキになってやってる私。でもうまく行くとうれしい。英語の勉強と違って、PCはすぐに結果が出る。次にPodcastをPSPで再生できるらしい。これを試してみる。PodcastVideoで取ったファイル。mp4ファイルならOKだけど、見かけはMPeg4なのに、拡張子を見るとm4vのファイルもあり。ブログ仲間のhanaさんに教えてもらった方法でやってみましたが、PC基礎知識のない私にはチンプンカンプン。再生できませんでした。でも拡張子をmp4に変えて、その上で、hanaさんに教えてもらった方法を試すことでCNN Daily Newsなども見れるようになりました。hanaさん、ありがとうございました。我が家はLANを引いているので、ネット閲覧や、RSSチャンネルで、いろいろなPodcastも入れることに成功。PSPなのにゲームをやるつもりなんて、ちっともなかった我が家。しかし、裏ワザ本みたいなものを読んでも、これに関してムキになる気になれず・・・子どもはやりたいみたいですが・・・無視です。とうとうダンナが昨日「数独」のゲームソフトを買ってきました。あと、画面保護に液晶カバーも購入。それに、本体とともにメモリースティクDuoを購入する際、ヤ○ダ電気で、USBケーブルと液晶保護シート、メモリースティク1Gがセットになっているのが凄く安かったので、購入しましたが、やっぱり1Gでは物足りないですね。さて、1週間でここまでやっと来ましたが、今後どんな使い方ができるのか楽しみです。
