Headlines scream over a mega whale (a person who owns a huge chunk of bitcoins) selling $1 billion worth of bitcoins. But here’s what ever happened.
見出しには、ビットコインの巨大くじら（大量のビットコインを所有する人物）が10億ドル相当を売却したと騒がれています。しかし、実際に起こったことはこちらです。

This early Bitcoin holder, who bought Bitcoin years ago when it was almost worthless, recently moved that Bitcoin to Galaxy Digital. It’s like moving your gold from one safe to another, but everybody assumes you’re selling it.

The key point is, he is selling through OTC markets, meaning it’s more like a private sale between willing buyers and sellers at current market prices than throwing it all over the public exchanges to crash the price.
重要なのは、彼がOTC（店頭取引）市場を通じて売却している点です。これは、公開市場に放出して価格を暴落させるのではなく、現在の市場価格で意欲的な買い手と売り手の間で行われる、プライベートな取引に近いという意味です。

Translation: All the Bitcoin is going straight to institutional buyers, such as: ETFs and treasury companies — without creating chaos in the market.
要するに、すべてのビットコインが市場を混乱させることなく、ETFや財務系企業などの機関投資家に直接渡っているということです。

Here’s what has really caused the drop: the liquidation of leverage positions. When Bitcoin runs fast from one point to another, say, from 109K to 123K, everybody is excited to open up margin accounts.

It’s like buying a lottery ticket via credit card; it amplifies gains, including losses. Unfortunately, a lot of people are doing it, and the big players can purposely induce a downturn in price to force leveraged buyers to sell. Like a poker player who constantly has a big stack, forcing smaller players to fold.

The Result: Over $1 billion in leveraged positions got wiped off the board yesterday. Those forced sellers turn into buyers for tomorrow at lower prices.
