やや若ヒネと言うか、色も黄金色で古酒感が出ています。

99のマルトレイと比較すると98で此処まで老けて如何するのと言う感じです。

特級としては酒質が薄い様に思います。ただ単独でこのワインを飲めば、綺麗に熟成した良いコルシャルで蜜ナッツがあって最高に美味しい！！ワインですと誉めて終わっているとは思います。

ルモワスネとマルトレイが良過ぎとも言えます。

色はオレンジが入った黄金色、香りは石英、ナッツ、オイル、蜜感、白檀、スパイス、味わいはナッツや蜜感もあってエキス分も豊富で熟成感のある旨味のあるワインです。酸が弱くボケている事を除けば申し分ないワインだと思います。

1998 Domaine Louis Latour Corton Charlemagne

This famed negociant firm's flagship wine, the Corton-Charlemagne, was extremely difficult to assess in the 1998 vintage. Austere mineral aromas lead to a bright, lemon butter-flavored core. It is superbly focused, and possesses stunning length, two attributes that are the hallmarks of greatness, yet when tasted, it was tightly wound. If this wine gathers richness and depth as it concludes its elevage, it may ultimately merit an outstanding score. Projected maturity: 2002-2008+
