新年あけましておめでとうございます。2014（平成26）年もよろしくお願いします。
1日元日、晴れて気温も暖かかったため、初詣後早速、2014（平成26）年初撮影へ行ってきた。
Happy New Year!!
On New Year's Day after paying my first visit of the year to a shrine nearby, I also went photographing first time this year because of fine and warm weather.
最初は、今年2014（平成26）年、開業10周年を迎える横浜高速鉄道みなとみらい線より、Y500系。今でこそ東横線・みなとみらい線の車両として定着しているが、東急5000系そっくりな外観とはうらはらに、港町・横浜の海をイメージした青と躍動感ある都市・横浜をイメージした黄色のグラデーション模様、そして内装の紫地に船の舵や碇の模様をあしらった「横浜スカーフ」と呼ばれる座席モケットが、デビュー当初は鮮烈な印象を与えた。そんなY500系も、早いもので今年デビュー10周年を迎える。ということは、東横線桜木町駅がなくなってからも10年が経とうとしている。
First, Yokohama Minatomirai Railway's Y500 Series, which marks 10th anniversary of its debut. When it debuted, it made a vivid impression on me because of its blue-and-yellow-coloured wave pattern, depicting sea and dynamism, and purple-coloured longitudinal seat with steering wheels and anchors pattern, in spite of its look like Tokyu 5000 Series. This unit's 10th anniversary means that it has passed 10 years since the end of the section between Yokohama and Sakuragicho on Toyoko Line.
続いては東急4000系4110F「Shibuya Hikarie号」。早朝、臨時列車「サンライズ ヒカリエ号」として元町・中華街～飯能を走った同車が、056運用で2014（平成26）年初の営業運転に充当された。新年になって早くもこの車両を撮影できたことは、この1年何かよいことがあるかもしれないという予感がする。
Next I could photograph was 4110F set "Shibuya Hikarie" of Tokyu 5050-4000 Series, which run as a special train "Sunrise Hikarie" from Motomachi-chukagai to Hanno on that day's early morning. The first regular service of this unit was 056 operations. Photographing this unit on the first day of 2014 seems to mean that something good will be happened to me in this year.
